Joe Wigglesworth is a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM and a member of the PureApplication System development team, focussing on the architecture of the pattern engine and integration with OpenStack. He is also involved with the development of the IBM Cloud Orchestrator product and its adoption of the pattern engine. Previously, Joe was an architect of the Tivoli Provisioning Manager (TPM) product development team with responsibilities for virtualization technology and image management features. He is co-author of the textbook: “Java Programming: Advanced Topics” and a recipient of the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies’ Excellence in Teaching Award.

Pierre Boucher is Director for Research at Ericsson’s R&D and Services Centre in Montreal. He is responsible for research activities on broadband systems and networks for the R&D centre’s collaborative research and innovation projects with universities and institutions.
Areas covered by his group include research in packet technologies, intellectual property management and incentive program management. Mr. Boucher’s interests are in cloud networking and computing and applications of ICT in healthcare, smart communities and sustainable development.
Mr. Boucher represents Ericsson on various boards promoting research and innovation in the telecommunications sector and in the community, such as Prompt, CATA, ADRIQ and TechnoMontréal.
Prior to his 20 years at Ericsson, Mr. Boucher worked for Rogers in Network Research with a focus on OSS systems.

Edward Sich is Researcher, Systems and Technology, at Ericsson Canada in Ottawa. His current focus is RF technologies for future wireless systems.
Edward has been with Ericsson since 2009. From 2003 to 2009 he was Technology Director at Nortel where he led a team of researchers in technology topics related to 3G and 4G RF and Baseband subsystems, cellular wireless systems, and wireless LAN systems. From 1979 to 2003 Edward was a Designer and Design Manager at Bell-Northern Research (BNR) where he worked on Hardware, Software, and Systems in telephones, data switches, microwave transmission systems, packet routers, wireless base-station systems. Edward is a graduate of the University of Waterloo.

Mr. Kline has 30 years of private and public sector experience in the information technology sectors, with 19 years of experience working within Canada’s National Security & Intelligence (S&I) and Information Technology Security (ITS) lead agency. Mr. Kline is known within this community for being able to deliver large, difficult, and innovative systems and solutions years before industry or larger partner intelligence organizations.
In 2006 Mr. Kline retired from the Canadian Federal Government. His last executive position was as Director General of SIGINT Technology and Engineering within the Communications Security Establishment (CSE), Canada’s high-tech intelligence gathering organization. Mr. Kline has chaired many multinational Intelligence and Information Security bodies, such as the Common Criteria Recognition Arrangement (CCRA) where most of the world’s nations who produce or purchase computer security products recognize a common set of standards and product evaluation criteria, and the Joint Intelligence Interoperability Forum (JIIF), the most senior technical committee responsible for how signals intelligence is gathered and shared among Canada and it’s allied countries. Mr. Kline’s recognized leadership allowed him to be the first non US or UK JIIF chairman. Mr. Kline is also a founding member of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2, the world’s largest IT security organization.
Mr. Kline ran the Canadian operations of NIKSUN Inc. from late 2006 until recently when he moved to Blue Coat Systems. Mr. Kline’s primary focus in the private sector has been to focuses on the leading edge concepts and solutions for Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
Mr. Kline holds an Honors Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Certificate in Business Administration, both from the University of Ottawa. Mr. Kline also continues to hold a Top Secret Special Access (TSSA) clearance.
